How long do custom medals take to make?
Design is fast. Production and shipping take the time. Here is a realistic picture so your medals arrive before your event, not after it.
Design: minutes, not weeks
With GoPodium you can see a design of your printed medal in under two minutes online, and premium designs come back from our team quickly. Changes are free until you are happy.
Production and delivery
Once you approve and order, delivery time depends on the shipping you choose. Priority air is the fastest option at around three and a half weeks. Standard air is around 40 days. Sea freight, available from 400 medals, takes around 12 weeks.
We ask for at least four weeks between ordering and your event. Delivery dates are estimates, so leave a little breathing room.
Plan back from your event date
Start with the day your medals must be in your hands, take off a week of contingency, and that is your latest delivery date. Choose the shipping that fits, and order at least that far ahead. Planning three months out opens up sea freight and the lowest prices.
