The cheapest way to personalise a medal is a printed disc glued into a blank. It looks like what it is. We take the opposite approach and mould your wording and artwork into the metal, so the club name is raised, catches the light and lasts as long as the medal does.
Where engraving genuinely suits the piece, for example a recipient name or a record time on the reverse, we use it deliberately as part of the design.
Shape, size, metal finish, enamel colours, relief depth, ribbon colour and printed ribbon text are all decided by you, guided by us. Nothing is fixed by a stock mould.
Common personalisation includes club crest, event name, year, distance, age category, placing and a sponsor logo where the event needs one.

Personalised medals work anywhere the recipient should remember exactly where they earned it: club championships, school sports days, charity runs, gymnastics competitions, galas and corporate events.
Minimum order is 100 medals, with unit prices falling as quantity rises.
Every GoPodium medal is built to order, so nothing here is a fixed menu. This is simply the range clubs and organisers usually choose from when we design with them.
Most committees only order medals once or twice a year, so the process feels bigger than it is. Here is exactly how it runs, and where clubs usually trip up.
The only genuinely fixed date in the whole process is the day athletes need something round their neck. Start there, take off a week of contingency for delivery, and you have your production deadline.
Design and approval is the part that slips, because committees meet fortnightly and everyone has an opinion on the crest. Getting the first concept in front of people early is what keeps the schedule honest.
A vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) is ideal because it can be scaled and separated into layers for tooling. If all you have is a PNG from your website, send it anyway. We redraw artwork routinely and will tell you honestly if quality will limit the detail.
If your crest has fine text or thin lines, we will usually suggest simplifying it slightly for the metal. Detail that reads fine on a screen can disappear at 60mm.
A participation medal for 400 juniors and a championship medal for eight finalists are different objects. Participation medals reward volume, colour and a great ribbon. Championship medals reward weight, relief depth and finish.
Plenty of clubs run both from one design, changing only the metal finish and the ribbon wording. It keeps everything visually consistent and keeps the order over the minimum in one go.
We send a visual concept for free before any money changes hands. Circulate it to the committee, the coaches and, if you can, one or two athletes. They notice things adults do not.
Edits are unlimited and free. Changing the shape at concept stage costs nothing; changing it after tooling costs everyone time. Say what you actually think at this stage.
Once you sign off the design we produce the tooling, run the medals, print the ribbons and pack them to your instructions, sorted by event or age group if that helps on the day.
One named contact stays with your order from first sketch to boxes arriving, and we ship worldwide, so overseas organisers get the same process without the timezone ping-pong.
Ordering exactly the number of entries. Late entries, double entries and lost medals are guaranteed. A ten per cent buffer costs very little and saves an awkward presentation.
Putting the year on everything. If there is any chance of leftovers being useful next season, keep the year on the ribbon or the reverse engraving rather than the medal face.
Leaving the ribbon to the end. The ribbon is half of what people see when the medal is hanging. Designing it alongside the medal, in club colours, is what makes the set look properly bespoke.
